I'm Official!

Today, I received word that I am now an offical member of Sisters on the Fly! Yes, I am now Sister #1181. For years, I've seen articles about this fun loving group of gals and put it on my 'list of wanna dos' to join up. This year I took the plunge. If you've never heard of SOTF, it is a group of ladies that get together for adventures of flyfishing or cowgirl caravans while staying in their vintage campers. Since I'm a newby and haven't visited with my new found sisters, can't give you many more details than that. I purchased a 1971 Shasta Stratoflyte earlier this year and am in the process of renovating. Cleaning the crud is going to be a never ending job it seems. I'm decorating along the way and having fun which is the most important part!

These pictures are from the ad that I eventually bought the camper from. Yes, I replaced the bed that held the tires. It's got a pretty red futon mattress on there now.















It's pretty rough. But I wanted something that wasn't a big investment of money and that I could give my own style. If I messed it up, I could sell it for scrap. Don't think that's going to be an issue. I'm having too much fun!
